APAC will own 55% of the shares and the Civil Aviation Technical College will own the remaining portion of the shares.
The prime objective of this new Training Centre is to help the college's students to improve their English skills for attaining higher scores in the College English Test (CET). The CET is the

The new Training Centre will install the state-of-the-art technology CAN-8 VirtuaLab as one of the key tools to elevate students' conversational skills. This is to work hand in hand with the in-class lectures. There will be an initial 26 terminals within the CAN-8 local network and will gradually add to a total of 50 terminals before the end of the year.
The Training Centre will only admit students from the College this year and will eventually open to the public from the next year onwards. The duration of each course is 13 weeks or a total of 78 hours including lab hours and classroom hours combined.
The pilot class is scheduled to start on April 10, 2003 and the full scale launch will be in May 2003. We expect to fetch some 300 students by the end of 2003 and will reach 800 by the end of 2004.
